I used to dream that when I had my own business, I would choose what I wanted to do and that it would make me happy. But since I have my own business, my mindset has changed. I have learned along the way that work is not about doing what I want to do and it's not about choosing only the project I like, but it is about serving others.
The happiness of doing my job is measured in doing good for other people. For me as a religious person, I hold myself accountable and I make God the entity to which I am accountable for. This keeps me on track and motivates me to do my best. What I benefit from doing good is money which allows me to earn a living and continue doing more good.
Once you do the right thing, money will come abundantly and continuously. You’ve probably heard this before “Good acts lead to more good acts and greater rewards.” I believe in this as I have witnessed it for the last 5 years.
